About

Dr Rachna Shanbhag Mohite is a Pediatric Immunologist and Rheumatologist. She has completed her fellowship under the Aster-FPID (Foundation for Pediatric Immune deficiency,USA) programme during which she received extensive training in Clinical and laboratory Immunology & Rheumatology. She also had the opportunity to train at Pediatric Allergy Immunology Unit at the prestigious PGIMER Chandigarh.

Her area of expertise is treating children with Primary Immune deficiency diseases like SCID, CGD, CVID, Combined Immunodeficiency diseases and pediatric rheumatic diseases. She has had several publications in peer-reviewed national and International journals and has made several presentations at professional conferences and symposia.

  • Represented India as APSID junior at the 20th Biennial meeting of the European Society of Immunodeficiencies (ESID 2022) and presented ‘Autoimmunity in a large cohort of Inborn errors of immunity - experience from a tertiary care centre in South India’ in October 2022.
  • 1st Prize in Award paper presentation titled ‘Autoimmunity & Lymphoproliferation- a new paradigm in Inborn Errors of Immunity’ at the West Bengal Pediatric Rheumatology Society Conference- April 2022
  • 1st Prize in Oral paper titled ‘Autoimmunity in Primary Immune Deficiencies’ at the 19th National Conference of Pediatric Rheumatology Society (PRS)- November 2021
