Key Responsibilities

• Follow up with the suppliers for supply of ordered material in order to maintain adequate inventory.
• Receiving the supplies as per purchase order, checking of supplies  for their quantity & quality to make GRN
• Proper Storage of materials according to their storage conditions.
• ABC Analysis: To control rates of A & B Class items
• FSN Analysis. Returns of material to supplier 3 months prior to expiry.
• VED Analysis: To ensure availability of all Vital items on 24/365 basis
• To ensure the safe storage of surgicals in Store as per FDA and NABH norms
• Timely Payment to Vendors: Forwarding vendors bills with POs, GRNs to the account department.
• Physical Stock Checking: To ensure that there are no variances between physical & book stocks
• Maintaining good working relationship among department personnel, medical staff, other hospital employees and patients.
• Train the department staff to facilitate / impart on the job training to the team members.
