Dr. Shivahar is working in a field of paediatric critical care since 2012 after completing his DNB training from TATA MAIN Hospital, Initially stared his Paediatric Critical care directly under supervision of Dr Uma S Ali from B J Wadia Hospital for children as fellow for 2 yrs and he also pursued his Paediatric nephrology training granted by international paediatric nephrology association, under Dr Uma s Ali most respected and renowned in the field of paediatric critical care and paediatrics nephrology
He also continued to work at the Wadia hospital as Assistant professor and Full time consultant Intensivist for next year
He has had opportunities to manage critically ill children with variety of problems such as ARDS, septic shock,dengue shock, myocarditis, acute liver cells failure and acute renal failure
During his nephrology training, he has managed common renal problems and several renal emergencies like AKI, pulmonary edema, Hypertensive emergencies.
He is well worsed with management of airway, mechanical ventilation,HFOV, paediatric dialysis,
He is also very skilled in procedures such as intubation, arterial and
Central venous line placement, insertion of Intercostal drains, Peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis catheter insertions
He is dedicated, dependable, very caring towards patients,
He is also active member of kidney foundation for children and has participated in outreach programs and has been faculty at the PD workshops conducted for paediatrician inthe periphery
