Dr Ashish Ranade is an orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in pediatric orthopaedics and deformity correction. Dr Ranade completed his Orthopaedic residency from B.J. Medical College and Sassoon General Hospitals, Pune in 1999. Thereafter he obtained further training in general orthopaedics in the United Kingdom and then moved to the USA to focus on sub-specialty training. Dr. Ranade’s fellowship training includes three, one-year clinical fellowships namely Limb Lengthening and Deformity Correction at the Sinai Hospital, Baltimore, Pediatric Orthopaedic fellowship at the Shriners & St Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, and a Pediatric Spine and scoliosis fellowship at the Shriners Hospitals for Children, Philadelphia.

Subsequently, Dr Ranade joined Arkansas Children’s Hospital and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences as a faculty where he maintained a busy clinical practice until he returned to India in 2010. Dr Ranade has presented numerous scientific papers nationally and internationally. He has over 38 publications in international journals and has authored nine book chapters. Dr Ranade serves as a reviewer for several journals and is an editorial board member of three journals.
