He is an alumnus of AFMC Pune with MS (ENT), and trained in Head and Neck Oncosurgery at Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai. Having published numerous research papers and trained in the US at UPMC Pittsburgh, John Hopkins Medical School Baltimore and at MSKCC Hospital New York, he is highly skilled in pan-ENT surgeries.
His working interests are Advance Nasal Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (devised an indigenous septoplasty technique) and Anterior Skull Base Surgery including trans-sphenoidal approaches to Pituitary tumors, Endoscopic CSF repairs. He is skilled in dealing with Sinus problems, Airway problems, Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
He has a keen interest in Paediatric ENT diseases. He is expert in minimal invasive Head & Neck and Thyroid surgery and is well trained in Advance Otological Surgery including Stapedotomy, Otoendoscopic Ear Surgery, Mastoidectomies (CWU/CWD), Ossiculoplasties and Cochlear Implant surgery.
